So, do you think we can win?

Ok, this one is for my kids....

One of Alycia's biggest dreams is to win on America's Funniest Videos. Anytime anyone does anything remotely hilarious she yells, "videotape it so we can win mommy!" She will go to any length. A couple of times she has accidentally done something hilariously funny but hurt herself in the process. Being the wonderful mommy that I am, I roll around laughing, all the while trying to compose myself so I can console her and see if anything is broken. She asks "mommy why are you laughing at me?" Trying to redeem the fact that I laughed first and consoled second, I tell her that it was just too funny and perhaps she could have won America's Funniest Video's if I had had the camera rolling. Then, I don't know whether to laugh or cry as she replies between sobs, "ok, mommy I'll do it again if you think it will win."

Anyway, all that to prefact the fact that we have a new "puppy" at our house. A puppy who does really funny things somtimes. Well, at least funny enough that we're willing to bore our friends and family with video of it!! And, best of all, my sweet Alycia does not have to hurt herself to win the contest. So......you be the judge....is it funny or are we just starved for humor here in Japan?
