I took 600 + photos this weekend at the Cherry Blossom festival in Nago this weekend. I guess putting them all on my blog might not be a good thing? I just love this time of year though.
I was a little worried I wouldn't have any pictures to show from this year since the flash on my camera quit working. But, my wonderful friend Heidi found a Japanese camera reapir shop that fixed it in less than a week and cleaned my camera too!
The Nago City festival is held where the ruins of the castle used to be I've read. There is an amazing path up the side of the mountain lined with cherry trees that absolutely stunning. Did you catch the part about "up the side of the mountain?" Perhaps this was not the wisest thing to do with only 4 weeks left in my pregnancy but Tom and I have not missed a cherry blossom festival at Nago in the 6 years we've lived here and I wasn't about to start now!
The kids had a blast at the park on the top of the mountain and were very good about posing for all mommy's pictures. LOL! Enjoy!
